Meet the Team – Ross Neale

Ross Neale is our Operations Director and joined the business almost five years ago, having previously worked as a shift engineer at a UK based paper mill.

He began his career with Jardin Corrugated as Engineering Manager, taking care of a wide range of machinery and equipment with both regular maintenance schedules and reactive repairs forming part of his everyday role, as well as optimising machinery performance.

He was promoted to Operations Director in 2023 and now oversees the day-to-day operations of the business which covers a varied range of responsibilities including making business decisions based on engineering life cycles and business needs ensuring production is seamless to support customers with their packaging requirements.

“The variation of my job is great, and I have a healthy split between office and hands on skills assisting in breakdowns on occasion and helping to develop strategies to assist with the smooth running and improvement of each machine’s performance. 

“Working at Jardin Corrugated is challenging but fun – they’re a great bunch of staff that make every day enjoyable and help one another to be the best they can be. I’m very proud to work with everyone on site and be part of such a positive team.”

When Ross isn’t playing his part in manufacturing corrugated packaging, he enjoys watching Formula One, telling us the data and engineering part of it is particularly interesting and similar to corrugated; just a little more glamourous!

He can also be found in the gym and playing cricket with his two young sons.
