Meet the Team – Ronnie Cameron

21 Nov 2025

Ronnie Cameron is well known in the corrugated packaging business; indeed, he has been at Jardin and part of the industry for 28 years!

In 1997 Ronnie joined the business on the sales desk answering customer calls, processing orders and doing quotations. It gave him a great understanding of the product offering and after a couple of years he went out on the road as a salesperson.
Since then, he has been Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Director and he’s now back in a Key Account Manager role mixed with new business development.

He’s come a long way from his interview, straight from university, when he was asked ‘Are you passionate about boxes?’ He thought it would look weird to say yes, so he said, ‘With time yes, I could be.’

It got him the job and by his own admission he can’t walk round a supermarket or shop now and not say, ‘We made that!’

Ronnie commented; “There is a positive supportive environment at Jardin Corrugated where teamwork and respect are valued. I’ve always enjoyed working here and the people really do make a huge difference.

“As I near my third decade with the business, I’m really looking forward to helping deliver the continued growth of the business and supporting customers in their quest for corrugated packaging solutions that really make a difference.

“I would definitely encourage young people to join the industry as there are so many different jobs available with most of them having a diverse range of things to do meaning no two days are the same.”

Just for fun…

*If you didn’t work in corrugated what would you do?

If I didn’t work in corrugated I would have chosen a career in travel as I love all aspects of travelling and going on holiday!

*A fact that people may not know about you

I don’t like hot desserts – they should be banned!

*What do you like to do outside work?

In the summer I play cricket where I bowl leg spin pretending to be Shane Warne. I have a 5 year old daughter who keeps me on my toes and I follow the ups and downs of the current European Champions, Tottenham Hotspur.
