Jardin Employee Completes NEBOSH Qualification

Jardin Health and Safety Advisor, Sue Doggett has recently completed her NEBOSH certificate qualification. NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) offers a comprehensive range of globally-recognised, qualifications designed to meet the health, safety and environmental management needs of all places of work.

This qualification is ideal for managers, supervisors and staff from all types of organisations who focus on health and safety issues. The certificate helps them manage risks effectively and provides a valuable overview, and is a sound basis for further professional study.

Sue has worked for the company for 15 years and has a very good knowledge of the company’s policies and procedures. During her time with Jardin she has achieved many qualifications including a Modern Apprenticeship in Performing Manufacturing Operations Level 2, Lean Business Training NVQ Level 2, IOSH Health and Safety Worker Involvement certification, IOSH Managing Safely certification and Internal Quality System Auditing certification.

In addition to this Sue is the chief First Aider on site, and is also the first point of contact for new employees when they join the company. She also gets involved with local career events that happen around the area promoting the fibreboard manufacturing sector to school leavers. Alongside her H&S role at Jardin, Sue is also part the Logson Group safety team.
