Jardin Expand Printing & Die Cutting Capabilities

Jardin Corrugated, part of the Logson Group, has successfully installed and commissioned a Dong Fang Topra 1628 four colour Rotary Die Cutter at its Sutton plant in Cambridgeshire. The machine was installed with an integral EDF Castaldini Downstacker.

The new machine has a special stacker unit manufactured especially for Jardin, allowing batch delivery and full pallet delivery. The machine is designed for high performance, reliability, operator’s safety and user-friendly controls to produce top quality cartons.

Commenting on the installation, Jardin Managing Director, Kevin Hennessy stated; “This was a very smooth and timely installation; the machine went in on time and without any problems. This is our second Dong Fang, we have another at our plant in St Ives and we have been impressed with this machine, so had no hesitation in ordering a second one. The machine is a very capable printer, and we have already run significant quantities of four colour display packaging for our existing customers. The setup is very fast, with the Serrapid rotary die cylinder, and our productivity has soared as a result.”
