High Flying Chloe Jumps for Charity
08 Oct 2019
On the 21st of September, our Internal Account Manager Chloe Chapman took part in a charity sky dive for ‘The Sick Children’s Trust’. Chloe raised £432.00 which has been matched by the W&R Barnett Charity Matching Scheme which means a massive £864.00 will go to this very worthy cause. Chloe’s mother also took part in the sky dive, who raised an additional £450, so this will also go towards their chosen charity.
The Sick Children’s Trust help families with seriously ill children in hospital and provide them with free, high quality accommodation just minutes away from their child’s hospital bed. The Sick Children’s Trust believes keeping families together significantly improves the recovery of seriously ill children. As well as accommodation the charity also provides emotional and practical support wherever they can.
Chloe herself has always wanted to take part in a sky dive and thought this to be the perfect opportunity to tick it off her bucket list, as well as raise money for charity.
Chloe tells us a little about her high flying experience: “It is difficult to put into words as it was truly unbelievable. It was a brilliant day overall, from the weather, to the family and friends that came along to support us and to the amazing instructors that made it all possible. It was a remarkable experience that I will never forget and I recommend it to anyone thinking about doing it themselves!”
Chloe has been working at Jardin Corrugated for over 2 years now and is looking forward to doing some more for charity within the company in the future.
